How Stean Gorge

How Stean Gorge is located near Lofthouse in upper Nidderdale and is a spectaculkar small limestone gorge up to 13 metres deep in places. There is a small entrance fee for the Gorge and this also provides access to two small caves that have entrances in the gorge, How Stean Tunnel, and Tom Taylor's Cave (Tunnel). There are other caves near by, including Cat Hole and Eglin's Hole.
